Student LEGO Builds
MakerSpace Schedule
Mondays - MakerCart
Students can use materials from MakerCart to build projects, finish homework assignments or work on special projects suggested by the library.
Tuesdays - Ozobots
Students use small robots while learning basics of coding and problem solving either using specially colored markers or iPad apps.
Wednesdays - Green Screen/Stop Animation
Students can reserve the use of the Green Screen Studio for 30 minutes for class projects (Book Reports, Science Projects, etc.) as long as there is a prepared script.  They can also use Stikbot poseable figures and iPads to create stop animation mini movies.
Thursdays - Virtual Reality Goggle Field Trips
Using smartphones and VR apps (DiscoveryVR, Google Expeditions), students can participate in virtual field trips exploring different parts of the world or scientific concepts (Hawaii, Sharks, Roller-coasters, etc.)
